The New American Standard Bible (NASB), was first published in 1963, comprising then of the New Testament, and this was complemented by the Old Testament in 1971, though it has been updated several times, lastly in 1995. It is no relation to the New American Bible or the American Standard Version. This Bible was completed by a group sponsored by the Lockman Foundation.
